DEMONIC, VAMPIRIC and DREAMOLOGY news!

This week, as Darren Shan polishes/edits/writes his versions of the 'Demon Thief' segment of our TV adaptation of his gloriously bloody and horrifying 'The Demonata' saga, we reveal the next bits of news on our slate! Including for 'Billy Fearless', a coming of age vampire movie.

Firstly, THE DEMONATA!

We handed in the final versions of our Demon Thief scripts to Darren, for him to now apply his beloved stamp to his creation. Darren has long dreamed of rethinking Demon Thief due to it not only being such a personal story to him, but also the limited window he had to write the book originally. Ijaz and I couldn't be more excited to see what changes Darren makes to his demonic baby!

Work continues on our 'series bible' for the show, and below is a little something Jazz designed for it.... (please note that this may not be the show's official branding from a TV network or streaming service should it receive an official greenlight).

Now for 'Billy Fearless'!

Film funding is in full swing with the creation of a 'Special Purpose Vehicle', otherwise known as an 'SPV'. This is the Ltd company for the movie itself that falls under the Dreamology umbrella. In other words, we can legally start raising the money for this film once the SPV has been approved by HMRC. We couldn't be more excited to achieve this milestone, the processes es this will allow us to tap into will undoubtably lead to a film being made.

Finally, an update about my production banner 'Dreamology Pictures'! We are closely looking into rebranding to something a bit more relevant to the kinds of movies and TV I enjoy (and am personally more involved in). I am very much in blue-sky for this as we speak, but I feel it's important to confirm that this will most likely be happening in the new year.
